Mundane Monday? Get up and chase your dreams.
Ok, so this has nothing to do with image just my thoughts.
Do you find yourself working for the weekend and then on Sunday night dreading Monday? Do you hate your job? Your boss? Working a 9-5 all together? Join the club. As I was daydreaming yesterday while my boyfriend was making my watch the Lord of the Rings marathon, I got to thinking about dreams and turning them into reality. Most people have a dream. Something they want to do, become…something, but the majority of people do nothing about it and get bogged down in everyday life work, bills, responsibilities and slowly their dreams start to fade. It makes me sad to think about it and I don’t want to be one of those people. I think everyone deserves to live their dreams. On average people spend 1/3 of their life at work. If you work from 18-60 that’s about 14 years of your life you spend working. Don’t you think you should be doing something you love as opposed to something you just tolerate? Me too. Unfortunately, no one can tell you the exact steps on how to get there. People claim they can by attempting to persuade you to buy a book, product or service, but at the end of the day that drive has to come from within. It takes a lot more time, effort, struggle and perseverance to live your dreams than not. But once you achieve it, it would be worthwhile don’t you think? Here is my profound advice/steps for living your dreams.
1. Figure out what you want to do
2. Get off your ass and do it
Simple as that. All people are different and people achieve things in different ways. Whether you are a spontaneous go for it type of person or a careful planner that takes baby steps. It might take a lot of time, going back to school, training, or just taking a leap of faith, but go for it or at least try. You don’t want to look back on your life and think about the shoula, coulda, woulda’s.. So get up and get to it.
